Connecting a ZWO ASI533MC-Pro to a Takahashi Epsilon 180-ED

I hope you had a great weekend.

 

I’m trying to connect my ASI533MC-Pro to my Takahashi Epsilon 180-ED scope.

As expected I have a hole variety of M42 and M48 rings and extension tubes. However I cannot find the correctly connect the camera and filter drawer (Also ZWO) to my telescope.

I have checked the guide from ZWO but I don’t seem to have the correct threads on my rings.

 

There is a ring on the telescope with an internal thread. The thread is too big for M42 and too small for M48. Is there such a thing as an M46 thread perhaps?

Did you look in the Takahashi Instruction Manual ?

Looks like you need the "Takahashi Wide T Mount"

thanks for your message. 
I read the manual and I also have the T adapter. It fits my DSLR perfectly. Unfortunately it isn’t any good for my ASI533MC.

Have you measured the internal thread diameter with a rule from the top of thread pitches, usually gives you an idea.

Towards the bottom of FLO's page for this scope, it mentions the corrector lens has a female M54 thread for the wide T-mount. So, if the thread on your T-mount has an outside diameter of 54mm then a M54 to M48 adaptor should allow you to screw your ZWO filter draw onto the corrector lens.

Once you have a "Tak Wide Canon T mount", you attach a "Canon lens to CCD adapter."

Then you have a M48 thread to adapt to your ASI533MC-Pro M42 threads.
