Mark Selby had pulled back to 16-15 and it was looking grim for the Belgian bullet so I looked outside and saw some clear sky.
Had a quick go at the moon after a rough and ready setup.

Thin cloud drifted constantly but despite the tracking being off and the scope not being cooled properly I'm quite pleased with this shot.

Auto Dob 250 & QHY5-iii-585c + 3x TV = f15 :

Thanks Neil. If I can set up properly with the goto handset on lunar tracking then I might be able to grab a full mosaic at f15.

Lovely image!   Maybe I will try a couple more times with my QHY (same as yours) before giving it up.  (Me and one shots don't seem to get along)

Clear skies

Mike

Thanks Mike! Why are you struggling with the QHY?
