That makes sense.

At first - I thought that it is likely to be IFN that shows as OIII feature due to funny processing, but now, after you've pointed this out (which makes sense), and with above calculation of photon rate - I'm slightly more convinced that it can be legit thing.

Would like independent confirmation though.

I think I will aim my Samyang 135 F/2 with high-speed O-III filter at that area some time in autumn. Just to see what happens

I see nothing wrong with asking a question like that.  It was clear from the paper what was being done so I questioned his interpretation.
