gorann
Here are a bunch of Barnard and VdB nebulae in Auriga. There are surprisingly few images of these nebulae on Astrobin, and almost none of VdB29. The image reveals a large patch of dark nebulosity next to VdB29 that is not apparent in other less deep images and appears to be missing in the LDN catalogue. Is it only me that see bioluminecent deep-sea creatures in this image? This is reprocessed RASA8 data from back in February 2021, now treated with the new XTerminator tools. 41 x 4 min using an ASI2600MC and no filter. If coming summer is as bad as the winter we've just had, there will be plenty of time to rework old images.

It is amazing how relatively "easy" (and better) processing has become thanks to the XTerminator tools.
