k4kv
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this inquiry... Last night Ekos on an RPI4 would freeze after the Capture, Solve, and Slew portion when I clicked Refresh. It did this a number of times, even after several Reboots. It said KStars/Ekos was using 29% CPU, which seems like a lot!? Anyone else seen this? Glen K4KV Moultrie, GA
wimvb
29% doesn't seem a lot to me. Without any more details, it's difficult to isolate the problem. Have you posted this problem on the indilib forum?
Avocette
A starter question for you which might help people to narrow down on your problem! - which version of KStars are you using on which OS on the RPi4 (and how much RAM does it have)?
Dark Raven
Check the power supply/battery output and stability. RPi4 alone needs 3A. Insufficient Amperage often leads to RPi freeze. If you have a camera, guider, focuser, and filter wheel connected and driven by RPi it can easily become underpowered. 5-6 A should be available at all times. For cooled camera setups even more as they require 3A alone.
