Thought I'd better introduce myself.

Expat, born and bred in London UK.

Emigrated in 1987.

Live just outside Brisbane on acreage.

Retired. Grandfather to 11 and now a great grandfather, last year.

Always been keen on astronomy.

Hopefully it keeps the noggin active.

To answer old_eyes question, I too have old eyes so I'm an astro imager.

I'm 20km from Brisbane, so I have the Brisbane glow to my south east and I have Bortle 5 skies.

I prefer imaging galaxies when I can.
