Mount for 6se

Hi again all. Sorry I keep asking for help!

Yes, just about. For visual it will be okay as long as you don't overload the amount of accessories, for AP no. 

The mount itself is capable as long as you don't put too much weight on it (5kg is its limit), to get better performance out of it make sure you're using a strong tripod, I don't have experience with the one in your link. You can definitely hear the mount struggle a little with the C6 mounted on it compared to my refractor setup (you can hear the difference when it's slewing, it's much louder with the C6).

Strictly speaking the 6 SE is the telescope + mount. The telescope is a C6.  I see no advantage in mounting the C6 on the AZ-GTI rather than the SE mount, which is the same as the 8 SE mount. (The C8 weights abut 6Kg).

Ok thanks, my mount and tripod got broken several years ago. Getting back into it now and need a new mount and tripod.
