My image M106

This is my image of M106. 

11 hrs total.

2hrs each RGB  3hrs Lum and 2 Ha.

Not an hi res upload but I'm pleased with it. My first galaxy this year.

I always like seeing images of M106, one of my "bogey" targets. Not that easy to bring out the details in the outer spirals without blowing out the core.

There's some lovely dust detail within the core.  There is quite a lot of blotchy colour noise in the background and I think the image would be even better if this was resolved.

Yes about the mottling. Funny thing is it don't show on the original so I assume it's being added by compression or something.  I will look into this. Clear skies
