Mare Serenitatis yesterday evening

Hi,

I was observing Mare Serenitatis yesterday evening and I noticed an interesting line of 5 bright spots in nearly a perfect line in the darkness of the terminator. Looking at lunar charts, they are Linné G, H, F, B and A. I had never noticed this before. There's always something new to see along the lunar terminator!

Attached is am image of what I observed, it was more striking visually than what appears in the image.

Clear skies

Peter

I noticed exactly the same thing as I was sketching Posidonious last night and generally having a good look around. I was sufficiently curious about this line of white dots through the Mare that I snapped a phone shot down the EP.

Thanks for finding out their names I will have a look online to see if there’s any more info.
