Would you be able to document that please, I'd be curious about it!

Thanks...

Well I had the mount apart today and regressed the brass worm, silver gear and the white washers and all parts that needed a fresh application of grease. Making sure the parts where the clutches make contact with were kept grease free. Now it's so smooth and no juddering on the az gear, the clutches only need nipping up.

Not sure if my alt was doing this before but even with the clutch undone I can still use the slo mo control to move it? But all seems to working correctly and well.

I should probably use a thicker grease than the white lithium grease so may try that on the next time I have it apart to maintain.

Be interesting to see how the new grease performs.  Fair amount of discoloration on the brass worm gear.  Is that just tarnished or is it wear?

Only thing I don't like about this mount is the saddle chews the living daylights out off dovetails.  I live in hope someone will fab an affordable replacement.  Great mount otherwise.

It was just discolouration thankfully. I agree with saddle chewing the bejezus out of dovetails. Shame adm don't do one to swap like they do for the AzGti.
