Eq5 pro with WO ZS 73

So manual has options for either short or long mounting plate. Only seem to have short supplied with mount. So how do I attach the scope....with the mount supplied by WO ?

Is it a case of just sliding gold WO mounting bar into mount head and screwing down ?

The golden dovetail attached to the scope is upside down at the moment, flip it over. The fatter side goes towards the mount and this is what the 2 thumbscrews bite into when attaching.

Also make sure the clutches are engaged before attaching scope without attaching counterweights otherwise it is going to spin and scare you to death. ie scope crashing into the legs. As per @ONIKKINEN turn the dovetail the otherway round on the scope so it slots into to mount and tightened by the 2 thumbscrews

he has the dovetail attached to the scope looks wrong way round

this is a stock image fron FLO and now i am confused as the poster's image is rather blurred but looks like he has it the right way on the scope? So slot into dovetail on the mount groove and then tighten thumbscrews BTW i don't own this scope.

Thanks all....this is how the dovetail was attached when the scope arrived (from retailer). Looking at it it would make sense if it was the other way round, then the screws on mount would fit into groove 🤔

take the dovetail off the scope and flip it and try in the mount by itself the angle of the pictures from FLO and yours don't really help

Looks like it's the arca swiss vixen dovetail and is the correct way around. The thin lip is the arca swiss side for photo/dslr clamps, the thicker wedge form is the vixen dovetail side for astro mounts.
