Petavius at sunset

I posted this by mistake in the observing forum and couldn't delete it for some reason.

Petavius at sunset two nights ago - I love the way the light moves across the crater and rim in quite a short time, making it quite a "transient phenomenon" I suppose.

Mak 180 at about f20.

For whatever reason,  I have had few opportunities to go for this view.    As you say, right on the edge like this the light is very fleeting!   Must have all ducks in a row to capture well.   You got some great detail here.
