Hi everyone, first time posting on this forum.

 

I have a ton of questions regarding multiple topics so i decided to make one whole post with most of them rather than creating numerous ones for each question. Links are found at the bottom. Feel free to answer one question, no need to cover all of them since they vary a ton, general recommendations are also more than welcome.

ill start off by telling something about myself. I'm a beginner telescope user as i would call it, but just visual quickly became bored and i want to do AP. I know a lot of you will not recommend it but for the past month (longer than i have my current telescope skywatcher 130p heritage) i've been researching every possible detail i could come up with. so over that time period i've gathered some key questions and summed them up in one topic. (there is a link down below that has a number 0 in front of it, that refers to this part of the post.

1. Thoughts on skywatcher star travel 102? 

2. does chromatic abberation matter for dso's?

3. Whats a very budget dso dedicated astronomy camera that can take big dso's (orion nebula) in full fov?

4. If i upgraded the tripod of the Skywatcher eq3-2 could it carry more than its original payload?

5. What's a good calculator to calculate max exposure time?

6. thoughts on Tecnosky 60/360 apo doublet?

7. What size counterweight bar for AZ gti?

8. Performance of az gti on eq mode?

9. for big target imaging, dslr vs dedicated?

10. thoughts these camera's? svbony sv105/205/305 ZWO asi 120mm mc-s QHYCCD 5l IIc Bresser HD camera (all colour versions and for dso's)

11. good budget mount+scope? (not a dobson, already have one and want to do astrophotography, budget=500+-)

12. Is it sharpcap that supports livestacking or does it also depend on camera.

13. if i were to stack 30' of 0.5" exposures would i have the same result as for example 10 3"?

14. If i were to buy eq3-2 and motors or just any eq mount+ motors what would be my max exposure?

15. whats the max exposure of an unmotorized eq mount? (my latitude is 52, so above equator)

16. can a camera sensor overheat?

17. Is a .5 focal reducer compatible with an f5 newtonian?

18. does the omegon 150/750 eq4 have a spherical mirror?
