I'm off so last night I crashed early, 5pm.

Got up at 2am, plenty of time for coffee before going out.

Easily found the fuzzy ball and was quite surprised to see how much larger it looked compared to last week.

Using HeavensAbove and my location it was easy jumping from the Big Dipper directly to it.

We have rain forecast for tonight. I hope it moves through quickly. I've got the camera battery charged for tomorrow.

It is a nice brightish comet, showing a defuse tail now. Lovely green hue in a 30 sec exposure. We'll worth staying up late for and getting higher in the North East between ursa and minor major.
