Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) with RASA 11

Here's my attempt at this comet with the RASA 11, which obviously has the advantage of collecting a lot of data quickly.

First time I've fully processed a comet image. I used Pixinsight CometAlign process, but also Adam Block's suggestion of first removing stars from every star-aligned frame using StarXterminator. This proved to be time consuming but worth it in terms of reducing artifacts in the Comet only image. I still had to fiddle around quite a bit to remove these artifacts though - in the end resorting to a technique shown by AstroEdy on YouTube (in Italian!), that involved using ABE to remove star artifacts while using a mask to protect the comet. Anyway, think that was all worth it!

RASA 11 on CEM120, ASI2400MC Pro, 116 x 30s. Taken early hours of Thursday morning.

Great image. You must have dark skies, I attempted it last night but could only do 10s exps.

Thanks, yes, I should have said - Bortle 3 or thereabouts here, so I can just about get away with 30s exposures (140 Gain).

Stunning result!  You have a perfect mix of fast optics and dark skies.  In my opinion that's cometary heaven!
