Mars shot on the 15th and 16th December 2022, very poor seeing.

I've not done any planetary imaging for Sooooooooooooolong. It was nice to get back into it.

I dumped a lot of footage due to poor quality, more my fault than the equipment, but got there in the end.

equipment: HEQ5, Skywatcher 200P (F5), ASI 120mc, software Firecapture, PIP, AS2, RS6. used about 1500 best frames of many 1000's.

I enjoyed the process and will do again when time and weather permits.

thanks for looking.

Tim.

I reckon there is more detail in those. Very nice!

I've had go to try and bring more detail out using RS6 but to no avail, it seems me and RG6 don't get on. I really must learn to use this software going forward.

I have placed some of my attempts into my gallery, rather over processed and quite red.

I've had another go at these, about the best I can get out of them I think, without pulling what hair I have left out.😅
