rotator question regarding orientation

hi all removed my rotator a while ago on my C8 and just about to replace it ,if i dont put it at the same position will it still solve my images correctly,ie i have some old data at 206 degrees , so will it make the images line up with the old data orientation if that makes sense (if i use the same sequence in n.i.n.a) thanks
