Altair Hypercam Nikon DSLR Lens Adaptor to long for Nikon lenses to reach focus

Hello,

I got the Altair Hypercam Nikon DSLR Lens Adaptor and tested it with several Nikon and third party lenses. I noticed that only lenses with focal lengths above approx. 100mm reach focus. Shorter focal lengths do not reach focus. From my measurements of this adaptor I concluded that the adaptor is 0.5mm to long and that this is likely the reason for this. I had a discussion with Altair, but they told me I am the only one reporting this. Is there anyone who can confirm those findings or report if it is working for shorter focal lengths?
