M16 Eagle Nebula

Howdy,

This is one of those images that kinda fell together and seemed to turn out quite well despite the conditions and lack of data in one channel. I have done a couple of different versions of SHO and a RGB style HOO. I also did a close up crop out of interest.

All v nice, the lack of data in one channel does not detract from the images.

Great.  Very nice contrasts both in the brightnesses and the colours, particularly in the last one.

I think you're flipped on the long axis, no?

Thanks Olly. 😀 The three full size ones are orientated as my view facing east according to Starry Night 7, using naked eye. The close up is orientated so the pillars are "upright" for the viewer, so yes, flipped. 👍
