Dark Structures in the Promised Land

There are many more fainter dark structures in the Ca Nebula than the few that are typically portrayed very clearly.   The other aspect of this nebula that continues to astound me is its size.  For this image I decided to restrict my FOV to the end of the nebula, thinking that I would capture its full eastern extent (or is is western?).  But no--it still has extensions beyond the limits of the sensor.
