That's not too shabby for handheld to the eypiece. If it were displayed at 1:1 instead of being scaled by the website, it would be much better. I've just downloaded and viewed it at 600 x 702 on a 4k monitor and it looks fantastic.

Nice shot! I've got a Astromaster 90 (on an EQ mount) and I can say it's a very good performer. I use it for Scouts/Cub astronomy evenings. I might try to get the kids to use their phones next time.

Hello Paul. Nice try, you got a very good effect for a handheld photo using a tablet. It is worth remembering, however, that this technique of taking pictures is not particularly effective and you cannot count on much more here. If you decided to buy even the cheapest dedicated astro camera, you would get much, much more out of your 90mm. If you feel that this type of photography can give you satisfaction, it would definitely be a justified investment 🙂
