Good set of astro binos

I own, or have owned various Opticron binos and have always been pleased with the performance for the £££ spent.

10x50 is a good astro size.
A 50mm objective gives decent light gather, without having to go to the gym for weight training.
10 magnification means you can view clusters, etc. and probably won't have a problem holding the image steady.
I have also been happy using 7x50. But binos are not my main viewing instrument.

Next step, a tripod mount - or even a parallegram mount. Sorry I'm spending .

HTH, David.

The Opticron adventurers seem to get rave reviews by Stephen Tonkin the bino Guru. I have decided on a pair of those for one of Mrs K's Xmas present. We already have a spare tripod, so I'll get the bracket too 🙂
