First go at Mars 12th November

Once again the stinking jetstream sat right on top of us, misty but really surprised to get a small ammount of detail. Well chuffed!

P.S- Anyone know how to get rid of the rings around Mars after using wavelets? Can't see them on my laptop but plugged into the TV & they really stood out thanks.

Excellent images if that's your first attempt. Some very nice details.

For the ring you could select and fill it with same background colour.

Excellent images. As @Kon says, to get rid of the ring artefact, just select the planet in PS, Affinity, or what ever image processing tool you prefer, then invert to select the background and fill with the same colour.

Thanks Kon, have to be honest I did try Mars many years ago 🙄 this is the first time with a proper camera.

Not the only wat to do it by any means but Photoshop or GIMP works.
