Thanks guys...

Good to meet you on Saturday Mark - yup, the skies aren't too bad. I was pleased to get the Veil this early in the year (and, fyi, this was pointing towards the light pollution on the main-land at about 2am) as at home it doesn't come out from behind the trees until about August time.

I've also got data from M57, M84/M86 and M97/M108 as well, but they are not up to scratch - might see if I can do anything to 'fix' that though if I get bored ;)

Cheers,

Richie

Oh, and on the Veil - This is a screen-shot of the tracking and first sub as it was coming in - OIII data - thats when I knew I would like what came out!

This is the first time I've gone mobile with the EQ6 I purchased from Brympton on SGL last June. He did a cracking job setting up the Polar scope on this mount, and I had no problems with tracking, alignment or rotation all weekend, despite having to setup every night! Very chuffed - thanks Brympton!

I can also report that EQMOD completely ignores the GMT->BST change when its running - I was wondering whether it would throw a hissy-fit when Windoze updated it, but it didn't ;)

Cheers,

Richie
