Refractor cases and star diagonals

Is it just me, or does anyone else find the fact that appears all refractor hard cases, and in some cases soft one’s too don’t have the space to either leave the diagonal attached or stored somewhere. I find it really most annoying

The case I bought from Cases and Enclosures for my 4" allows me to keep the diagonal attached. When carving out the cavity for the scope from the foam block, I included the shape of the diagonal rotated flat...
