Yes, I think seeing supported this more. It takes good seeing to support the higher focal length. It was a bit disturbed. So yes Its certainly sharper i did 1.5x drizzle. downsized to 80%

Its drizzled? Couldnt tell at all, so must have worked well.

Do you have some guidelines on when its worth the effort to drizzle 1.5x or is it a gut feeling based on the conditions each night?

For Lunar I only ever do drizzle when it's under sampled.  Even then you can get what looks like grid pattern in places. But Frequency domain on image analyzer removes it. so the technique works well. So to answer when under sampled. But watch out for gride pattern.
