Petavius prime focal length

Orion 245mm no barlow zwo 178mm ir685 with the seeing that night prime focal length might be working better i am unsure?

This one might be the best of the Petavius bunch. Looks nicely sharp on mobile zoomed in all the way.

Yes, I think seeing supported this more. It takes good seeing to support the higher focal length. It was a bit disturbed. So yes Its certainly sharper i did 1.5x drizzle. downsized to 80%

Its drizzled? Couldnt tell at all, so must have worked well.

Do you have some guidelines on when its worth the effort to drizzle 1.5x or is it a gut feeling based on the conditions each night?

For Lunar I only ever do drizzle when it's under sampled.  Even then you can get what looks like grid pattern in places. But Frequency domain on image analyzer removes it. so the technique works well. So to answer when under sampled. But watch out for gride pattern.
