Light capture and darks caused me to spent all night on these two.

65 minutes on Sombrero, darks subtracted.

55 minutes on Trifid, Darks subtracted

Imaging scope- Skywatcher ED120 APO refractor on an EQ6Pro

Guide scope- Skywatcher ED80 APO refractor piggybacked

Imaging camera- Orion Starshoot Pro OS DSI

Great colour in the Trifid, and I never tire of the Sombrero galaxy at 50,000 light years in diameter, it is stunning.

Lovely images Baz. and the M20 is excellent , one of my Fav , and i cant get it from home here , hopefully i can return visit to my holiday home in Suffolk to capture this again.

I AM very happy with my little Trifid. Not at all happy with the Sombrero though. Apart from being a little on the green side (needs reprocess) I think I want to go to a larger image scale. A 2 x Barlow sould give me the scale and some more detail to play with.
