More bad weather visits jupiter 11 sept

Seeing was quite good. But frames were noisy so a large stack. Using a de rotated video. 1.5x drizzle downsized to 75%

I did have some chances last week that were risky. Turned out clear most of the night. Lately even worse. Where it's just cloudy and rain. Been ages since I had a go. Weather has shifted for the worse here by the coast.

Another process same ser file non drizzle capture size.

Stack of 40.000 frames as noise was quite bad. Due to transparency, dew on the secondary and lower SNR due to the higher focal length used. Once again oversampling with lower SNR turned out to be the best image of the night. Theory is one thing results are another. 

But the capture was fairly consistent for the duration. So the outcome of all those frames in this instance is positive not negative. There is more than one way to skin a fish as they say.
