3D Printable Cable Tie Anchor Clip

In my quest to tidy up and secure the cabling on my WO FLT91 I wanted to be able to attach wires and cables to cable tie anchors without using zip ties so I could undo them easily if necessary without tools. Here's what I came up with:

I also use printed units to secure all wires. Depending on the size of the bed I'll use, I print 40 or 60 in one go.
Most of the time I use screws to secure them against the cabinet of a printer or a wall, sometimes I need to glue them.

There's no need to add explanation imo...

They're very small, only 17x10x4mm. At the bottom side there's no opening for the zip to push through. Instead there's a curved cavity inside. The zip tie just needs a small curve and gently push it into the bracket, leaving it at the other opening.

That's a great idea @Chriske. Might steal it for more permanent installations. I wanted to have my clip easily removable since I move my imaging train from scope to another often and they don't use the same wire harness I've made.

I added a chamfer.
Before you fill up your printbed completely with these units, print just one to see if it works for you. If the zip tie does not pass trough, you need to lower ExtrusionMultiplier just a little bit.
Needles to say, you need very small zip ties....😉

Just checking what I hadn't missed that these did something different that I couldn't get off the shelf reasonably cheaply. I admit 50p was an unfair exaggeration.

I use these tie wrap anchors for my model railway baseboards and they do come out around the 50p per hundred. Indeed they appear to be the base mount that the original poster used as his base.

Come with double sided sticky base and a pair of screw holes.

Printing 50 of these cost me 0.56€ + a extra €-cents for the printer's heater.

Using P-clips, you need to buy different sizes btw.

In my case I designed them to fit all, no matter how thick the wiring is.

I used the link you gave and a bag of 50 comes out at £18.90 for a bag of 50, including delivery! If you got them at 50p per hundred it explains why they are back ordered.😮

Thanks, I'm not looking to buy any (I have printed similar ones already) - just was dubious about 50p per hundred.
