Have you checked the file, I get a similar message when there's a file in the list which is 0 Mb or zero file size, this usually happens when I stop a plan whilst it's capturing an image. Take the file out the stack list.

Also does it complete the registration process only (no stacking)? DSS provides a score for each image after registration and you can normally weed out problematic frames just by looking at the score relative to the average.
