The Coathanger

Graham Darke

Recommended Posts

Known variously as Collinder 399 or Brocchi's Cluster, its resemblance to a coat hanger gives it its popular name.  The small cluster off to the left is NGC 6802. This image is 40 x 60 seconds taken with a TS71SDQ refractor and ZWO ASI071MC-Pro camera. All controlled by the ASI Air.  Processed in StarTools 8.

Hi This is a great sight on a very dark evening and I just love it .

I have a couple of Celestron goto set and as previously reported that during a handset sky tour it referred to the little coat hanger and it is a very similar image in the telescope
