Oh dear, I seem to have broken SGL's classification system yet again. This image is undoubtedly belongs in "imaging" but the present sub-forum is the least wildly inappropriate one I could find. If a mod has a better idea, please move it and let me know its new location.

Anyway, 6-8 months ago lots of people were imaging JWST on its way out to a halo orbit around the Earth-Sun L2 Lagrangian point. Very little seems to have been uploaded since. Here is my attempt to remedy the situation.

The left image was taken at 2022-08-18T22:20:05 UTC and the right at 22:23:03. Taken with a 0.4m Dilworth telescope and an unfiltered SX 694 camera. The first exposure was 30s, the other 60s.

JWST is marked in each case and the movement against the background stars in 13 minutes is evident. I have not yet performed accurate photometry but I guess it is at about Gaia g=14.9 magnitude.
