The next generation of amateur astronomers

Hi I have just completed  a few hours of viewing the Moon ,Saturn ,and the moon with my grandson and his girlfriend, the have been fascinated with all the viewing last night now.

My grandson is in to photography and I eagerly await to view his results .

We viewed Saturn first and as the night wore on the seeing improved and then the Moon became observable followed by Jupiter .

the conditions started to go downhill and we called it a night at 12.15  the image was with my phone we used a Celestron 6se and a Celestron Fi5 both on goto mounts
