Depends where I am holidaying.  If I am going to a Star party which is a holiday for me I take the full rig, but if I am going abroad and can do some imaging I take this rig with me.  

Ioptron Sky tracker and either my mono camera and a single filter, or a DSLR on a manfrotto tripod.  I put the tripod in my suitcase and everything else in my hand luggage.

No - just sailed through checks at the airport. Normally they do ask what’s in the case but didn’t this time.
