My first Jupiter animation (30 July)

Recommended Posts

I made several captures on the 30th July with the hope to have some good ones for processing, and I thought to put them in a little animation. They span 3-4am, although there are gaps of 5-10min in some of the captures. I tried to keep the processing the same for all the captures. Hats off to the ones that make super good animations, it is a lot of work.

Nice to see an animation

Is that a different sort of storm the white area above and right of the GRS?

In this capture there is no GRS. They both seem to be storms as in this Stellarium screenshot.

Congrats on your first animation. Looking good

Thanks Neil. I didn't realise the amount of processing it takes to get it done. I am not sure it will be on my immediate plans any time soon 🤪.

Well done! Not easy I imagine but it has come out well.

Thanks. Yes the processing took a while, actually longer than I thought 🤣
