Well I finally got out the clouds vanished about 10:00 to give me a nice clear sky I was at my local dark site the only reason it is darker is because of the elevation is about 840 ft

Scope C11 @ 6.3

Canon 40D Modified

3 hours of 5 minute subs with some 8 minute subs mixed in ISO 800 I found it kept the color better

Guided with PHD and Celestron 80

Had an issue with star shape once I set PHD to 0.2 from 1.0 it was ok

Lordy Lordy, how much better can these Images get.

This is really something Les. I have spent most of today logged on and looking at Images as they came in, and the quality is unbelievable. This one is just outstanding.

Now that's one for the album. I like the second process as the colour was a bit oversaturated on the first.

I have to agree the first was rushed as we get excited and the secound is better balanced but I am improving on it as I type

Ok played with it some more and did the old registar trick and added an older version into this one then tweaked and tweaked till my eyes are Bleeding
