Calculating Comet Position from Ephemerides and Orbital Elements Format

I want to add comets to AstroHopper navigation app. Currently I find their RA/DE coordinates manually in Stellarium for the observation date and time and add them as "stationary" user object at these coordinates. I want to automate the process.

Stellarium itself uses Minor Planet Center data in  Ephemerides and Orbital Elements Format that can be downloaded from here for example. 

I searched the web for a while and couldn't find description of calculations, tutorial or some simple open-source code to calculate RA/DE for comets such that I can update their location in AstroHopper according to the dates.

Finally there are very few parameters per comet so the calculations shouldn't that complicated to put in JavaScript.
