Solar wedge

Well tried out my new Lacerta wedge yesterday using my equinox 120 .Must admit a little apprehensive  so counter Intuitive

To point an open objective directly at the sun.But of course every thing was fine.Considering the constant passing cloud and next doors buddleia tree wafting in and out of view I was quite happy with the results. I did use a 2inch polarizing filter to bring down the brightness

There was plenty of focus travel on the 120 and I was surprised just how cool the wedge remained although it was only a short session.
