SGL 2022 Challenge 7 - Mobile Phone Imaging

Recommended Posts

I was struck by the beauty of the sky at 4am today. Some passing clouds but very clear between. Mars putting Betelgeuse and Aldebaran to shame!

So I had a go with my Galaxy S20+. ISO3200 and 20 seconds. Phone just leant on the ground against a kerb. Low tech but just about caught the splendour of 3 big winter constellations.

Here's a pic of some cloud iridescence on a random Saturday when I happened to look up. Amazing to think before I got into astronomy last year I probably wouldn't have even noticed this.
