Took this one with Astrophotography mod in my Pixel 3 XL, put it flat down on a tripod . Stacked with DeepSkyStacker and edited in Photoshop. All captured in JPG but exported as PNG

Struggling a bit here having dropped my phone into water, I’m having to use a very old iPhone 5S. Managed to load ProCam 8 on it, but PS Express won’t load so have edited this with Snapseed.

This was handheld at the eyepiece of a Tak FC-76DCU using a Baader CoolWedge with a Leica Zoom connected directly to the wedge to allow me to reach focus.

I normally focus and set exposure manually, but it seemed to work best on auto settings with this phone.

As said, a bit of tweaking in snapseed and then on the native iPhone editor. Original image attached for reference.

Had another go last night using Deep Sky Camera beta on my OnePlus 8 Pro, tracking on a SA. Set up a sequence of 30 x 30 sec exposures at ISO 800. Not all made it into the stack. Stacking and post in AstroArt 8. Sigma stacking with 2x2 demosaicing.

First up Low down in Aquilla through Sagittarius. Only 17 of the subs made it into the stack, a number had headlight fogging.

Then a bit further north picking up the Summer Triangle in Cygnus.

Neither are going to win any prizes, but hay ho. Colour balance is a bit wonky, but can't seem to fix it.

Saturn and Jupiter on 10th September in Wiltshire. I also shoot Jupiter on the 11th but colour balance was a nightmare so I am showing it in B&W. 8" Dob, manual, 2.5x TV powermate, ES 8.8mm for Saturn and 6.7mm for Jupiter, NexYZ mobile holder, Pixel 4a controlled by Procam X. I collected a 2 min video and I used PIPP, Autostakert and  Astrosurface.

Caught a nice shot of our nearest neighbour basking in the fading light from our star whilst recently on holiday in Ponza, Italy.

Captured handheld on a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Minor editing in bundled phone apps.

M57 and M27 nebulas. 8" Dob, manual,  ES 24mm, NexYZ mobile holder, Pixel 4a controlled by Procam X. I collected  14 and 40 frames each. Stacked in Siril; M57 is showing some of the outer nebulosity. 1s exposures, iso 7200.

So many times we see photos with the core overblown , its a difficult target , your image is really well managed  . Nice one

Location Bay of Finix, Southern Crete, 26th August 2022, 10:30pm looking over the Mediterranean towards Gavdos. Sky Bortle 1-2. It certainly was dark. I could even make out the Sawn Nebula naked eye. I can’t even see that at home in my 8” Dob.

Picture taken on my now “old” iPhone 12 on a tripod. Single 30sec exposure with standard camera app. Some basic editing on the phone.
