It works really well Ian and now they’ve massively expanded the catalog of objects it’s getting really powerful. One thing to bear in mind though is it doesn’t  usually get the targets dead centre so don’t expect accuracy with a high power ep. It gets it within a lowish power ep fov though. I’m not sure if it’s a constant offset which could be dialled out if they gave you that option or if it’s just a resolution limit of the camera and random.

I’ve heard enough, will order one today with the bits and pieces. What size of EP do you recommend as a finder? I’ve got a 24mm 68 degree ES and 32 & 40mm plossl’s. I’m also considering buying a 40mm ES 68 degree but they are over 1.2kg which I’ve never tested that sort of weight on my Dobsonian.

In my experience even the supplied regular 25mm Plossl (50 Deg AFOV) works well in terms of getting the target within the field of view - I’ve talked about this in my first light review - no reason it shouldn’t translate well to a DIY based system as well. Last night despite heavy cloud I tested on some easily visible stars using my 25mm Xcel LX (60 Deg AFOV) and it worked brilliantly. Your 24/68 will work fine. Look forward to hearing how things go!
