Does filter orientation matter for chromas? Worried they could be the wrong way around.

Recommended Posts

I have seen some people mention that filter can need to be fitted with one side facing the telescope and another facing the camera. I installed my chroma LRGB set in the way I pulled them out of the packet, not realising they may need to be in a certain way.

Does anyone know if chromas are orientation-dependent, or can they be put in whichever side facing the camera?

Cheers

See here for the R filter for example, should have the caret on the edge:

In fact I got there from the info page for the Red filter so assumed it was red filter specific but doesn't look like it is, anyway may be worth having a look round the site. If the LRGB set doesn't have the caret I guess it doesn't matter.
