I had about 10 minutes viewing Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn early Thursday morning.  Anxious for the “collision” of Jupiter and Venus, and low and behold it has now been overcast for the last 48+ hours and no relief in sight!  And so it goes.

It's always the way. Whenever I get the chance to observe anything astronomically special, it turns cloudy. Remember the last solar total eclipse? 😡

To me, it's an even more reliable way of guaranteeing cloud than having a new scope delivered ...
