Gemini Telescope Design owner Andras Dan passed away

Sadly the owner of  Gemini Telescope Design  - Andras Dan has passed away. He was finishing up an E.Fric. mount for me when sent me an email that he was putting it on hold to go in for heart surgery. I found out  this week on Cloudy Nights that he died.

Does anyone know if he had anyone working with him that I could contact.

What terribly sad news. I have a GTD G41 Observatory+ equatorial and it is a wonderful mount

I read the same sad news.  I've had an excellent G42+ mount for many years and benefitted from Andras's friendly, expert advice on several occasions.
I think his company is a small operation, perhaps depending pretty much on him personally, so I'm not sure if there will be anyone ready to take over.

I'll be watching the GTD web site to see if there is any news.

So sad to hear this. I wavered between the GTD mount and the Mesu mount. His help and knowledge along with his frank assessments of my requirements persuaded me to choose the Mesu.

A wonderful, honest and brilliant engineer. Condolences to his family.

Hi Rick, I´m responding to this older thread. Sadly, as you mentioned the founder of e-fric Andras passed away some time ago. As a potential new owner of this assembly, I am looking for materials and drivers, but nothing is available on their website. Can you please advise me where to find the mentioned items or, if you have them, send them to me?
