Using a safe solar filter for imaging with a Canon EOS DSLR and 18-55mm lens or even 75-300mm if it is safe enough.

So I was thinking if I can make a homemade solar filter or get one that is factory made specifically for Canon EF/EF-S camera lenses for taking images of solar eclipses, analemmas, sunrises & sunsets even. Feel free to send me any links to the right equipment and any good inquiries on how to make sun shots safely without any concerns of damaging my camera sensor with the right equipment. Here is examples of what I like to take through my Canon 600D, in addition to 18-55mm lens and 75-300mm lens (hypothetically).
