Hard Level Force

To get this image numerous variables needed to align...

...these stars in this small gap to the NNW, no leaves on the trees, enough water and not too much to prevent access, the weather and the moon.  Unfortunately the moon was too bright.

Foreground 2 cross lit images, composite sky ~12 stacked 8s, f2.2, iso2500 taken from my home 2km away.  LR, Sequator and PS.  Canon 6D MkII and Sigma 24mm.

My son has noted that there isn't much 'astro' in the image  😀

Plenty of Astro in that, Paul! Love the natural star glow from the high cloud. And really good work on the blending around those tree branches - amazing how you’ve got that looking so good.
