Antares Region - Rho Ophiuchi

The second of 2 images taken on 2nd April at Astro Camp.  I had tried this target twice with travel equipment from Spain with cheap lenses and was never really happy with the results, so attempted it again VERY low of the horizon from East Sussex.  In this image I used the Spanish colour and used the East Sussex Luminance.

4 hours DSLR in Spain and 8 x 600 luminance from UK.

Atik460EX and Samyang lens 130mm @ f2.8

There is one week in the year where it's possible, otherwise maybe if I go to holiday in spain sometime I'll give it ago.

Lovely image Carole.  No chance for me really with my northerly Latitude and bortle 6.  Remembering my time working in South Africa when this was above my head.....ahhh, to dream.
