Polar scope question

When looking through the polar scope is the image upside down or just as we see it with the naked eye ???

Upside down and right/left reversed. You can get right angled adaptors which will correct the upside down bit, much like a refractor used with a diagonal.

Thanks ... so in the image below (View through polar scope) polaris is positioned between  8 & 9 oclock where through my camera lens (same as viewing with your eye) it should be placed between 2 & 3 oclock for true north.

 Is this right?

Not really sure on that one, I suppose it depends on the alignment of the camera? The polarisview app can switch between views though.

I prefer the Polar Clock app (I'm sure other apps have the same functionality) which can show the expected view in the polar scope. Makes life easy for me any way.

+1 for Polar clock App. Mine is set to show the clock view thats in my Skywatcher reticle
