what else goes with a daystar quark

just wondered if anything else is needed if i use a daystar quark on my C8 or ts optics scope apart from the camera ,any more filters etc thanks

I think the C8 will need some sort of off-axis energy rejection filter (daystar-off-axis-erf-energy-rejection-filter-for-8-sct-63mm-version). Also, the Quark for a reflector isn't the same as for the refractor (Quark Combo, I think?)

The TS 100mm should just need an IR / UV filter before the first optical element (before the diagonal is quite common). If going straight through, then it can go on the Quark nose - this is the configuration I use on my APM 107/700

You'll also need a USB power source and will likely benefit from a tilt adapter

It's astro imaging - always needs more that you budget for 🙂

If you join the solarchat forum there's a guy called Vallery that specialises in large  format ERF.. he's in Ukraine so with what's going on atm he won't be able to deliver.. I read a post to say he was safe and has some stock but won't be able to do anything until hopefully it's all over
