Back into the hobby after 10 years and it has been a fun time.

Many painful hours watching the met office and wondering why the crap I got back into this hobby.

But when I look back on it, yes well worth it.

New scope arriving soon  (RC 10inch open truss) and exciting times are ahead

It almost looks like you have been living in a different county to me! 

Although I have a permanent rig setup to take advantage of short spells of clear skies, you’ve gathered way more photons from the cosmos in 6 months than I have in a year!

Now that could be down to a couple of factors. 
1. You have better weather than me in NW Lancashire?

2. you have a fast scope and a sensitive OSC camera enabling you to complete images faster? 
 

What ever the reason, I am impressed by the quantity! 

You must be excited about the truss RC! I’ve looked at them so many times and it is one of my future purchases!

The main reason I bought the Rasa, take full advantage of those gaps in the clouds. A couple of hours to get an image that previously would have taken 10+
